A moderate 5.0 magnitude earthquake rocked residents of Ontario and Quebec on Wednesday.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was centred about 60 kilometers north of Ottawa. It struck at 1:41 eastern time and lasted about 30 seconds.
The Ontario Legislature was evacuated as a precaution.
The Internet is abuzz with people saying they felt the earth rumble in cities across Ontario and Quebec, including Windsor, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
