If you love 80′s music you might want to look away.
Gioia Bruno, lead singer of the girl group that spawned big pop hits like “Point of No Return” and “Seasons Change,” has been charged with trafficking methamphetamines. Law officials spies tell RadarOnline.com that the Miami-based singer was arrested in The Sunshine State back in April and slapped with felony drug charges afterr transporting 28-200 grams of the highly-addictive narcotic.
The case was settled when Gioia received just five years probation (she must have dropped dime on someone), but friends of the once famous singer remain concerned about the company she’s been keeping.
“She has been running with a rough crowd. Gioia has been on and off drugs for years, and I am worried about her health and well-being. She claims that she was set up and was only doing it [selling drugs] because she hit rough financial times. The case isn’t closed yet and she’s been cooperating with police investigators in exchange for a lesser sentence. Celebrity Rehab has called two years in a row to have her on. She needs to get sober, but she refuses to admit she even has a problem.”
