Facebook hit 500 million users on Wednesday. This presumably led to a lot of back-patting, as Switched writes.
But in an interview with Diane Sawyer of ABC News, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said his team celebrated by taking photos of themselves thanking users for making the network a success.
Later, Sawyer had Zuckerberg on the defensive for much of the interview — discussing pending intellectual-property lawsuits, the upcoming (unflattering) Facebook movie, and privacy complaints.
