Four people died and four more were injured in a flurry of gunfire outside a downtown Buffalo restaurant early this morning, reports the Buffalo News. Officials searching for a cause were eying a large private party taking place inside the bar when shots erupted around 2:30am; three were pronounced dead on the scene and lay covered on the sidewalk for several hours. A fourth was declared dead at the hospital.
“A lot of people were real upset, just trying to get out of the way,” one partygoer inside the bar told the AP. “Nobody know where anything was coming from. Everyone was in a panic.”
