Country superstar Shania Twain married the “man who impressed her much” – Frederic Thiebaud – in a New Year’s Day wedding ceremony in Rincon, Puerto Rico, and the singer feels like such a woman that she’s released a couple of photographs from the couple’s island nups as a treat for fans.
“I’m in love!” the Canadian beauty blogged about her feelings for Frederic shortly after announcing their engagement late last month. “Frederic Nicolas Thiebaud has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend and over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship.”
In a pecuilar case of wife-swapping, Shania and Frederic, a Swiss-born Nestle business executive grew closer two years, after their then spouses -– Robert “Mutt” Lange, a music producer, and Marie-Anne Thiebaud, a friend of Shania’s, who managed Mutt and Shania’s Swiss chateau – began having an affair.
