Former President George W. Bush’s Daughter Barbra Bush and wife Laura Bush have come out in support of marriage equality. Barbra Bush says “I am Barbara Bush, and I am a New Yorker for marriage equality” and she has also said “I am Barbara Bush, and I am a New Yorker for marriage equality.” While promoting her newest book Spoken From the Heart on Larry King Live, Laura Bush said “When couples are committed to each other and love each other” they should have “the same sort of rights that everyone has.” When asked for a statement from the George bush camp only the sound of crickets could be heard.
