After Ellen Tweeted that all she wanted for her birthday was a lock of Justin’s recently unshagged hair, the teen heartthrob responded by dropping in to The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday with a box containing some of his sought-after locks.
Be still, Beliebers! Before you start flooding Ellen’s Twitter timeline with threats of car bombs and violence, note that it’s all for a very noble cause.
“Yes, it’s really my hair,” Justin said, explaining that he’s giving “pieces” of his hair to different people — who he hopes will auction off the tresses for various charities. Driven be an urge to “do something good,” Justin signed a glass container where the hair is encased and gave Ellen his blessing to hawk the hair to raise money for Gentle Barn, an organization that trains therapy animals of children in need.
“My @JustinBieber hair has been up on ebay for an hour and it’s already at $10,000!” Ellen Tweeted only moments ago.

As someone who cut off 8 inches of hair yesterday, the very thought of someone keeping locks of hair is creepy beyond belief.
