Ke$ha may be music’s latest devil-may-care party girl, but before she brought her whiskey-fueled brands of oral hygiene and music to the masses, Avril Lavigne was the angsty good-time girl to watch.
Likely noting their similarities, including penchants for teasing men, heavy eyeliner and half-shirts, the ‘What the Hell’ singer covered Ke$ha’s party anthem ‘Tik Tok’ at the Radio 1 Live Lounge.
Lavigne, whose most recent album, ‘Goodbye Lullabye,’ was four years in the making, is excited to bring some of her new material (and a few borrowed tunes) to audiences soon.
