2012 People’s Choice Awards Musical Nominees for Hip-Hop, R&B
The People’s Choice Awards go on TV tonight and will give awards to performers in music, movies and TV. We couldn’t help but notice that there are some interesting nominees for Favorite Hip Hop and R&B artists!

In particular, the Favorite R&B Artist category has an interesting competition going. Rihanna and Chris Brown find themselves up against one another (no pun intended) in a battle of former lovers who broke up. Also competing against them is singer Beyonce who just had her first baby, Blue Ivy Carter. Rounding out the field of five is Bruno Mars and Ne Yo. Only one will win the big award tonight, and our pick is that Beyonce will grab this one.
The Favorite Hip Hop Artist includes Beyonce’s hubby, Jay-Z. He’s competing with Eminem, B.o.B., Nicki Minaj, and Pitbull. Jay-Z has continued to unleash hit songs, and just recently unveiled a song dedicated to his baby called “Glory.” That may have made fans more enamored with him, but our money is on Eminem for tonight’s win!
The People’s Choice Awards air Wednesday night starting at 9PM EST on CBS.
