Dr Conrad Murray Convicted in Michael Jackson Death, Seeks Bail

Dr Conrad Murray, whom was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the Michael Jackson death case, has asked a judge to release him from jail pending his appeal. It is expected his appeal will take more
than a year to move through the courts.

James Farentino Dead at 73

Actor James Farentino who appeared in nearly 100 movies and television shows died Tuesday in a LA hospital. Reports say Farentino died of heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Actress Kyla Pratt Thanks Fans on Twitter

Actress Kyla Pratt has surprised many fans recently as they’ve learned news she was pregnant and has given birth. Not many fans knew of this as Pratt had kept it a secret from many people. She did this in order to avoid negativity that she claims her other female friends in the business have put up with.

Kyla appeared on an episode of the BET sitcom “Let’s Stay Together” this past Monday evening, and Twitter started talking. Add to that the fact that Pratt went on the Wendy Williams show, and fans started to congratulate her on the news of her baby’s birth.

Kyla has mentioned she has plans to marry her baby daughter’s father, a man nicknamed “Compton,” in the future. For now, she will have a recurring role as Crystal on BET’s “Let’s Stay Together,” set to last at least 7 episodes in season 2.

On Tuesday, singers Chris Brown and Britney Spears managed to become top Twitter trends. During the early afternoon hours, each of the singers was included in a trending phrase on the social media site.

The phrases, “Chris Brown is our King” and “Britney is Our Queen,” both become hot on the microblogging site. Other Twitter users weighed in with their thoughts on the matter. Some seemed pleased to see their favorite musicians being praised, while others were angry about it.

Brown last tweeted on January 16th with the following interesting quote:

“If the lights in the sky came crashing down, I still could find your love even in a crowd… But will u remember me?”

Meanwhile, Britney Spears last tweeted on the 13th with several tweets about her kids including:

Jayden is having some hair raising fun on the trampoline!

Neither celeb has given any sorts of comments on Tuesday about the trending topics. That hasn’t stopping fans, or those who aren’t fans at all, from tweeting about the interesting trending topics!

The Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder Debuts new “Damon” hairstyle

Ian Somerhalder is dropping hints of a possible flashback episode of the CW series The Vampire Diaries. Ian recently Tweeted a pic of a much longer hairstyle, a wig, which will likely be whilst portraying Damon Salvatore for a future Vampire Diaries episode.

In addition to tweeting the “What if…” pic, Ian also posted on January 16th, “Damon and his baby bro, all day long today… Talking about munching on people. Love my job Have a wonder-fully swell day.”

State health officials dismissed complaints from patients who claim they were mistreated at Lenox Hill hospital while Beyonce was giving birth. Several patients stated the Beyonce and Jay-Z crew treated the hospital like it was their own personal building, and nothing else mattered. One father says attempts to visit his premature twins were interupted several times for little Blue Ivy Carter. Was it all a ruse, or are officials simply sweeping things under the rug?
