Harry Potter superstar Emma Watson will be transferring from Brown University to another university in the fall according to her spokeswoman.

Vanessa Davies vehemently denies reports that the 21-year-old actress was “bullied out” of the Rhode Island university, saying there was no truth in reports by a number of online publications who cited classmates and “insiders”.

Davies said Saturday that Watson, who plays Hermione in the wizard movie series, has decided to pursue a different course not offered at Brown.

She added that the star “has absolutely loved her time at Brown” and made many good friends there.

Watson has recently taken time out of her studies to focus on her movie career. She has said that her first days in college were difficult.

Davies did not identify the university Watson will be transferring to.

An Indiana Senate panel approved a bill that would make it illegal to obtain an abortion from week 20 onward. They also included a requirement of doctors to tell women that life begins at conception and that the fetus could feel pain at 20 weeks. However the Senate did remove the requirement of doctors to tell women that having an abortion would increase their risk of breast cancer.

Where and what we count as human life is up for debate, some say conception, some say viability without medical intervention. Requiring a doctor to possibly go against his/her personal beliefs to state a certain unproven point of view is beyond wrong.

According to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists the fetus cannot feel pain before 24 weeks because nerve connections are not sufficiently formed. I tend to believe specialists (though that may change if they’re required to spout a point of view).

Oh thank goodness that completely and utterly unproven hypothesis on the link between abortion and cancer was removed.

Honestly, I’m in the viability camp, and so far no fact has changed my mind or my pro-choice stance. The fact that we are pushing laws onto the public that have no factual basis to back them up sickens me. Religion, myth, and rumor have no place in our law books.

What would you do if you were 114 years old? I don’t know about you, but I’d do whatever the hell I wanted and blame it on the meds. Jump on the court during a Lakers Play-off game… “I’ll take it from here young fella!”

Walter Breuning’s on the other hand sat at home and remembered his grandfather’s tales of killing Southerners in the Civil War. Breuning was 3 and horrified: “I thought that was a hell of a thing to say.” Man, I can’t ever remember if I brushed my teeth this morning.

But the stories stuck, becoming the first building blocks into what would develop into a deceptively simple philosophy that Breuning, the world’s oldest man at 114 before he died Thursday, credited to his longevity.

Here’s the world’s oldest man’s secret to a long life:

_ Embrace change, even when the change slaps you in the face. (Basically, never get divorced)

_ Eat two meals a day (Basically, don’t smoke weed)

_ Work as long as you can (Basically, don’t let da man clean you out)

_ Help others “The more you do for others, the better shape you’re in.” (Basically, Don’t be a lazy ass!)

Then there’s the hardest part. It’s a lesson Breuning said he learned from his grandfather: Accept death.

“We’re going to die. Some people are scared of dying. Never be afraid to die. Because you’re born to die,” he said.

Wise words from a wise man.

A J.Crew ad that shows a top designer painting her young son’s toenails neon pink has some parents and doctors seeing red.

The image appeared in a feature called “Saturday With Jenna,” which was emailed to customers last week and highlights a few of J.Crew president and creative director Jenna Lyons’ favorite products — including the hot pink Essie nail polish seen on her son, Beckett.

The caption below the picture reads, “Lucky for me I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink. Toenail painting is way more fun in neon.”

But not everyone sees fun in the ad.

“This is a dramatic example of the way that our culture is being encouraged to abandon all trappings of gender identity,” psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow wrote in a FoxNews.com Health column about the ad.

Media Research Center’s Erin Brown agreed, calling the ad “blatant propaganda celebrating transgendered children.”

“Not only is Beckett likely to change his favorite color as early as tomorrow, Jenna’s indulgence (or encouragement) could make life hard for the boy in the future,” Brown wrote in an opinion piece Friday. “J.CREW, known for its tasteful and modest clothing, apparently does not mind exploiting Beckett behind the facade of liberal, transgendered identity politics.”

But Jo B. Paoletti, author of “Pink and Blue: Telling the Girls From the Boys in America” told FoxNews.com she believes critics are overreacting.

“Lots of kids, say 7 and under, might ask their parents for something that would seem to be cross gender, and I think most parents, especially in the privacy of their own home might think, what’s the big deal?” Paoletti said.

J.Crew spokeswoman Margot Fooshee said the company had no comment on the ad. Jenna Lyons did not respond to direct requests for comment.

When asked if the ad crossed the line, a majority of Fox News Twitter users backed Paoletti.

“What line would that be? Not forcing your child to like a color just because gender stereotypes say they should?” one commenter known as along_the_path wrote.

But not everyone agreed.

“Why would I want my son to paint his toenails pink?” ohthatmomma wrote. “Why woukd [sic] I want my son to paint his toenails at all?”

France’s new ban on Islamic face veils was met with a burst of defiance Monday, as several women appeared veiled in front of Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral and two were detained for taking part in an unauthorized protest.

France on Monday became the world’s first country to ban the veils anywhere in public, from outdoor marketplaces to the sidewalks and boutiques of the Champs-Elysees.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy set the wheels in motion for the ban nearly two years ago, saying the veils imprison women and contradict this secular nation’s values of dignity and equality. The ban enjoyed wide public support when it was approved by parliament last year.

Though only a very small minority of France’s at least 5 million Muslims wear the veil, many Muslims see the ban as a stigma against the country’s No. 2 religion.

About a dozen people, including three women wearing niqab veils with just a slit for the eyes, staged a protest in front of Notre Dame on Monday, saying the ban is an affront to their freedom of expression and religion.

Much larger crowds of police, journalists and tourists filled the square.

One of the veiled women was seen taken away in a police van. A police officer on the site told The Associated Press that she was detained because the protest was not authorized and the woman refused to disperse when police asked her to. The officer was not authorized to be publicly named.

The Paris police administration said another woman was also detained for taking part in the unauthorized demonstration.

It was unclear whether the women were fined for wearing a veil. The law says veiled women risk a euro150 ($215) fine or special citizenship classes, though not jail.

People who force women to don a veil are subject to up to a year in prison and a euro30,000 fine ($43,000), and possibly twice that if the veiled person is a minor.

The law is worded to trip safely through legal minefields: The words “women,” “Muslim” and “veil” are not even mentioned. The law says it is illegal to hide the face in the public space.

Moderate Muslim leaders in France and elsewhere agree that Islam does not require women to cover their faces, but many are uncomfortable with banning the veil. Religious leaders have denounced the measure, and are struggling with what to advise the faithful.

The plans for a ban prompted protests in Pakistan last year and warnings from al-Qaida. It also has devout Muslim tourists skittish, since it applies to visitors as well as French citizens.

Authorities estimate at most 2,000 women in France wear the outlawed veils. France’s Muslims number at least 5 million, the largest such population in western Europe.

The ban affects women who wear the niqab, which has just a slit for the eyes, and the burqa, which has a mesh screen over the eyes.

Kenza Drider, who lives in Avignon and wears a niqab, calls the ban racist. She was planning to attend Monday’s protest.

Right before the ban came into effect, she said she would continue to go “shopping, to the post office and to city hall if necessary. I will under no circumstance stop wearing my veil.”

“If I am warned verbally and must appear before the local prosecutor…. I will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights,” she told AP Television News.

The veil, for her, “is a submission to God,” Drider said.

The ban had strong support from France’s leading parties on left and right in a country that separated church and state with a 1905 law but has struggled in recent years to integrate a growing Muslim population.

Police on Saturday arrested 61 people – including 19 women – for attempting to hold an outlawed Paris protest against France’s pending ban on face-covering Islamic veils.

Many Muslims have also felt stigmatized by a 2004 law that banned Islamic headscarves in classrooms.

LeAnn Rimes made headlines when she stepped out looking super skinny in shorts a couple of weeks ago, her weight was again under scrutiny when she sang the National Anthem at the NCAA basketball championship game in Houston Monday night.

LeAnn defended her new look in a series of tweets after the performance:

So what did the man who works with the world’s most famous underwear models have to say? Spill, Ted, spill.

“Heidi is by far the best and easiest model to work with,” Southern reports. “She’s so animated and fun to be around. She’s friendly to everyone.”
Gisele Bundchen? Not so much.

“She’s really tough. She’s always screaming, ‘What the f–k is this?’”

Imagine that!

Next up for Ted? He’s working on astronaut gloves for NASA’s next spacesuit.

One of my favorite cartoons as a kid was He-Man. It really didn’t take much to entertain me just anything with magic or special powers. That is pretty much the same way it is today; just with movies instead of cartoons. When I read about a collection of homoerotic artwork focused on He-Man I was very intrigued.
A charity called “Skeletor Saves: A Charity Art Show” has focused on the beefy He-Man and his ripped foes to raise money for the Ali Forney Center, which provides housing for LGBT homeless youth in New York City. Skeletor Saves is a compilation of homoerotic artwork that is designed to be about more than just sexual orientation.” Of course I think sexual orientation is the biggest part of it, and I am ok with that.

When Brian Moylan, one of the three curators, was asked about He-Man and this art collection; he said: “His appeal goes beyond sexual orientation boundaries,’ ‘. “Little straight boys just understand him less ironically.’” The “Skeletor Save: A Charity Art Show” has managed to attract some big names in the gay world including designers Marc Jacobs and Helmut Lang and porn star Francois Sagat.

A couple of days ago I wrote a post called The Woman Who Wanted To Look Like A Drag Queen about Collagen Westwood, who spent thousands of dollars on cosmetic surgery to look like a drag queen.

A couple of days ago I wrote a post called The Woman Who Wanted To Look Like A Drag Queen about Collagen Westwood, who spent thousands of dollars on cosmetic surgery to look like a drag queen. In the post I gave my honest opinion about the topic, which is my right as a <del>journalist blogger</del> dumbass.

I have since received an e-mail from Ms. Westwood demanding Flynews remove the post or she would see us in court. Her entire response reads as follows: “remove your article about me being stupid!
The only people that are stupid are you for believing the press. i did not have surgery to make my self look like a dragqueen at all. remove this or join me in court.” First of all Ms. Westwood you need to start your sentences with capital letters, myself is one word not two, and drag queen is two words not one. Now in response to your demand; there is no way in hell Flynews will ever remove the post. Also what are you going to do in London while I am in the United States? Also, I am a gay guy who is telling you drag queens are not beautiful. That of course is my opinion as yours is that drag queens are beautiful. As they say “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” I am just glad I don’t have your eye.

God bless you for being you. I repeat Ms. Shirley Q. Liquor “Be who you is.”

Collagen Westwood, a really stupid 21 year old woman from North London, has had cosmetic surgery to make herself look like a drag queen.

Another WTF moment!

Collagen Westwood, a really stupid 21 year old woman from North London, has had cosmetic surgery to make herself look like a drag queen. Ok, people have cosmetic surgery to look better not to ugly it up. She says she loves being mistaken for a man dressing up as a woman.

Westwood says: “I’ve admired drag queens since I was a little girl.” How sweet, she has a warped since of admiration. She also says: “They’re glamorous and beautiful — what woman wouldn’t want to look like that?’” Um, any woman with half a brain. She has a couple of different wigs and loves it when people mistake her as a transvestite.

Well as Shirley Q Liquor says: “Be who you is.”
