Looking to be working through their differences, Billy Ray Cyrus has called off his divorce and reunited with his wife Tish.

The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer filed legal papers to end the 17-year union in October of 2010, also blaming the success of his daughter Miley’s Disney show “Hannah Montana” for “destroying” his family.

But Cyrus has been working hard to repair the family fall-out since his GQ magazine comments caused a tabloid storm – and he now reveals things are back on track with his wife and his kids.

In an appearance on U.S. talk show The View, due to air on Friday (March 18), the 49 year old says, “I’ve dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together… Things are the best they’ve ever been.”

As for reconnecting with daughter Miley after publicity-caused tension, papa Cyrus told, “I feel like I got my Miley back. I feel like we’re the daddy and daughter we were before Hannah Montana.”

It looks like Pete Wentz is really not ok with soon-to-be ex-wife Ashlee Simpson over custody of their 2-year-old son, Bronx. Even though the two claim they are on “good terms”.

The musician, 31, filed a divorce response Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking joint custody of their child.

Simpson, 26, who filed for divorce last month, indicated in her filing that she’s seeking sole custody of Bronx with visitation for Wentz.

However, legal experts say that because of the limited detail in divorce filings, it’s too early to say if the couple are truly headed for a custody battle.

“We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our No. 1 priority,” the couple said in a previous statement.

Wentz’s attorney wasn’t immediately available for comment, but a source close to Wentz tells PEOPLE, “There’s no fire. It’s a very straightforward response asking for joint custody and fair distribution of attorney’s fees. He’s not gearing up for a custody war.”

When most people get in the mood for a little Mexican food they count the pennies in between their cushions and drive to their local Taco Bell.  But when Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson want a little Mexican they fly to Mexico and start humping like little Mexican rabbits. Muy Caliente! 

The pair left on a private jet from Van Nuys airport Tuesday morning, then were spotted having dinner in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, that night, according to sources. And by “sources” I mean the little Mexican midget wiping tables. Early Wednesday morning, they returned to Los Angeles where Johansson is shooting the film We Bought a Zoo with Matt Damon.

On the menu during their Mexican meal? Penn, 50 and Johansson, 26, reportedly enjoyed lobster and, of course, margaritas.

Earlier this week, the twosome were seen sharing a casual lunch at the popular Los Angeles Cuban restaurant, Versailles, where Johansson had her leg draped over Penn. Hmm… maybe she just had wrestless p00ntang leg syndrome. 

Anywhore, on Feb. 5, the couple stayed unusually close to each other at a party celebrating Black Swan at the L.A. hotspot Sunset Tower Hotel, then reportedly left together. “They were flirting with each other all night, pretty much ignoring everyone else,” said one source.

Johansson’s rep told PEOPLE.com at the time that the two were not dating.  Oh ok… if a rep said it, then it must be true.

Neither of their “reps” have commented on the pair’s most recent sightings.

Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, 34, split in December after two years of marriage. In August of 2009, Robin Wright, 44, filed for divorce from Penn. The couple had been married 13 years.

Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife Brooke Mueller obtained a restraining order to keep the actor away from her and their sons because she was afraid of threatening statements Sheen had made.

She told the court in a filing that Sheen had also refused to return the boys to her. The order, filed Tuesday and obtained by The Associated Press, requires Sheen to stay 100 yards away from Mueller and their twin sons, Max and Bob.

According to a sworn declaration filed in the case, Mueller said Sheen told her in a phone call Sunday night, “I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom!”

She also claimed that Sheen recently threatened to stab her in the eye with a pen and has spit on her feet and punched her on the arm.

The nearly 2-year-old twins were removed from Sheen’s home Tuesday night after a court order was granted to Mueller.

“I am in great fear that he will find me and attack me and I am in great fear for the children’s safety while in his care,” Mueller wrote.

Text messages sent to Sheen Wednesday morning for comment were not immediately returned.

Earlier, on the “Today” show, he said he was “very calm and focused” about having the children taken away but was ready to fight to get them back.

Sheen said he didn’t say those words, adding “it’s colorful … that’s a good one I guess. If you spend enough time around me you can formulate things and make it sound like it could have come from my mouth, but you can do that watching reruns.”

Sandra Bullock admitted, in an interview with Today’s Al Roker that there is only one main man in her life right now – her son, Louis. 

Bullock seemed to have wanted to make it crystal clear that rumors of her and newly single Ryan Reynolds being an item aren’t true.

“I think there will be a collective sigh amomgst women across the united States when I say he’s not my lovah,” Bullock, 46, says on the red carpet before Sunday night’s Golden Globes. “He’s just an amazing friend for 10 years … but I don’t get his loving after dark.”

Bullock, who is currently working on Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close with Tom Hanks, added Louis is the only man in her life right now, saying “it’s all I can handle.”

While the typical Tinseltown divorce comes within the first few years, John Mellencamp is reportedly calling it quits with his wife of 20 years.

The “Born In the USA” rocker and his model wife Elaine Mellencamp have announced their decision to part ways – though the pair opted to keep details to themselves.

A just-released statement from a spokesperson tells that the Mellencamps “are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family.”

The split comes after John and Elaine married back in 1992 while also being parents to two sons.

If Kelsey Grammer hopes to swap life with the Old Ball & Chain for a fantastic new existence with much-younger fiancee Kayte Walsh, the Frasier actor will have to relinquish ownership of a hefty part of his fortune, tattling tipsters tell TMZ.com.

Kelsey’s divorce from former Playboy model/current Bravo Real Housewife Camille Donatacci-Grammer may cost the 55-year-old actor around $50 million because the couple did not enter into a prenuptial agreement when they wed in 1997.

Camille failed for divorce last July, after she claims Kelsey walked out on her and their two young children, but during their 13 years of marriage, the couple amassed a fortune in excess of $100 million, most of which is in real estate. The couple owns homes in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles, Malibu, Hawaii, the Hamptons, New York City, and Colorado. Since there is no prenup, per California law, Camille is entitled to half of Kelsey’s fortune.

The soon-to-be former Mrs. Grammer could also take a part of the back-end profits and syndication money Kelsey earns from all of those old repeats of Cheers and Frasier. Grammer recently tried to block her access to his accounts, despite the fact that it was Camille’s head for business that helped her ex find financial success again after some cash flow troubles in the mid-90s.

The exes are still hashing out a financial settlement, but Kelsey is asking the court to grant him a divorce as soon as possible.
